My partner and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at the sun inn. We were regular customers before the pub recently changed hands and were pleased to see some familiar faces.
The menu is a little different from before but the specials board was full of old favourites which we have previously enyoyed. Thai chilli chicken sizzler and the steak sizzler which looks and smells divine were listed among them.
The menu itself has the usual dishes you would expect from a pub but also more exciting things such as sea bream.
There is a good choice for vegetarians and everything is home made. I also noticed a tea time menu running alongside the main menu with sausage and mash, chilli, wraps, pies and many other warmers for 6.00 each which is really good value for a real meal.
The pubs interior looks superb after its total revamp, its modern but still keeping in with the old world feel. Its warm, inviting and a thoroughly nice place to enjoy a drink and meal with friends.
The exterior is undergoing some changes such as the removal of the smoking shelter to make room for a smaller one and more tables to enjoy the sunshine by the pond.
I would reccommend The Sun Inn to anyone. Lovely little secret that needs sharing!

Fab food lots of choice and delicious puds. Will be going again hopefully soon. Very reasonable for all types of food and good choice to include veggies. We had non meat carvery very good even down to being asked if we want veggie gravy.
Friendly staff. Only downside is little space outside for outside dining or drinking. Nice not to be in modern looking pub far more atmosphere here with real fires etc.
